Sunflowers!
The Healthy Hoosier Oil sunflower field has become a summertime destination for people from across Indiana. As part of responsible and sustainable agricultural practices, the location of the field changes each year. Stop by the store to get a map to the field’s current location. The time frame for the sunflowers to be in bloom varies from year to year, largely depending on the weather and when the crop actually gets planted. We LOVE people visiting our field. But we do have a few rules that we ask people to follow:
Please do not cut or pick any sunflowers! These are a commodity crop for us and part of our business and family’s income. Taking home one sunflower may not seem like much, but if everyone that visited the field did so, we’d quickly lose a large number flowers.
Please be mindful of the property, and the field’s neighbors. Parking can be limited at times depending on the field’s location.
